Yes, right its kaanta (thorn, for the unitiated). Before proceeding further, let me present it to you.
This bloody thing resided in my right slipper for about an year and a half. But as many people know that i do not like “jhanjhat wale kaam”, i never tried to take it out because it only registered its presence when i stepped on a stone at a particular angle. Actually the fact that i could only “feel” it and never see it even on checking my slipper through every angle god has ever made, added to this decision. But by god every time i did “feel” it, someone screamed at the top of her voice 
…inside my head, “Kaanta Lagaaaaaaa !!” and i used to get super angry like the ghayal dude here.
Well, it got into my foot again about 4 days back. And this time somehow i felt that this relationship should be ended. Since i’m not deft at such things, i asked batra to help me out and he obliged. So he and I set on the task with all our might.
Now since a tweezer is not an easy find in OBH, we decided to go after it with a safety pin and a nail cutter. After about 15 minutes of meticulous abrading, scraping and groping on the slipper for the thorn, we finally caught glimpse of it and then as i help the slipper tight, batra managed to get the thorn out with the nail cutter.

Although, i felt jubilant for a while, i felt kinda sad at the prospect of not having to watch out for that angle. Like, some weird kind of bondage will not be there anymore.
PS: Used macro mode for the first time for the thorn.
PS1: One more exam to finish off the eighth semester.

@GrTh, Not sure what you mean but if you mean that its not zoomed up enough then i hope you realise that the your browser scales up the images to fit your screen. You could follow the image link to view it in its original form.

On this note, the whole wordpress dashboard thing is excruciatingly slow, albeit with a lot of features..

I totally understand you feeling sad about not having to look out for that ‘angle’. I once didn’t clean my bed for 2 months and a lot of stuff had piled up. I could only sleep at a particular ‘angle’. When I cleaned the bed, jubilant though I was, I missed having to sleep at that particular ‘angle’
PS: This is called ‘aalas’, to the extent that it maybe dubbed as a disorder.
